This Privacy Policy has been created to demonstrate our firm commitment to protecting the privacy of our customers' personal information.

À la Boîte à Fleurs is committed to protecting your privacy. We will use the information we collect only in strict compliance with applicable laws and regulations and with best practices in computer security and information confidentiality. There are only three (3) reasons why we collect information about you:

  1. To process your order (including payment authorization and billing);
  2. To offer you leading-edge services such as reminders and management of important dates, quarterly newsletter subscriptions and purchasing services;
  3. To contribute to the development of our site content and services.

We will not rent, sell or offer your personal information to any third party.

Information we collect

In order to complete the transaction, certain personal information such as your name, e-mail address or street address will be requested if you open an account or make a purchase. We will also need you to provide us with complete contact information for the recipient of each delivery.

À la Boîte à Fleurs does not retain your credit card number or security code once the transaction has been completed.

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we will ask you for the basic information required for you to receive promotions and discounts, as well as information related to our business.

Use and disclosure of your information

At The Flower Box, we understand that your inbox is already clogged with too much spam. The last thing we want is for you to abuse it to the point where our e-mail address or web domain is added to your e-mail's blocked senders list or spam filter. That's why we promise never to harass you with daily, weekly or monthly e-mails. There are only four (4) possible reasons for receiving emails from À la Boîte à Fleurs:

  1. Confirmation emails will be sent to you as part of the normal purchase transaction process to confirm completion, clarify inquiries or verify the accuracy of information provided.
  2. If you've signed up, we'll send you an interesting monthly Fleurs & Saveurs newsletter, as well as discounts, promotions and invitations to private events.
  3. We'll also be happy to answer any questions you may have.

In short, we won't send you any e-mail unless you specifically give us your consent (unless, of course, it's an order or delivery confirmation).

We will always give you the opportunity to opt-out of any future marketing emails or text messages.

If you agree to receive information from us, we may use your purchase history, contact information or any other information requested at registration to personalize the information provided and improve the content of the e-mails you receive. We may also send e-mails to our users to inform them of changes in our services or of topics that may be of interest to our users. If you prefer not to receive these e-mails, you may send us an e-mail with the words "No more e-mail" in the subject line, or reply to the e-mail with "No more e-mail" in the body of the message.

If you send us personal written correspondence such as letters, faxes or e-mails, or if a third party sends us correspondence relating to your activities on our site, we may collect this information. We may use this information or any other data collected during the use of our site to resolve disputes, track and correct technical problems, implement or enforce our policies, terms and conditions for the benefit of our customers.

We cannot guarantee that your personally identifiable information or private communications will not be disclosed in ways not otherwise described in our Privacy and Disclosure Policy. For example, we may be required to disclose certain information to the Government or a third party in certain limited circumstances. It is also theoretically possible for a third party to illegally intercept or fraudulently access transmissions or private communications. We may therefore (and you authorize us to) disclose, at our sole discretion, any information to competent authorities or government institutions that we believe necessary or appropriate to provide in the event of an investigation relating to fraud, copyright or intellectual property infringement, or any other crime or activity that may prove illegal or that may expose us to civil or criminal liability.
