À la Boîte à Fleurs is committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information we collect in strict compliance with applicable laws and regulations and with best practices in computer security and information privacy. There are only three (3) reasons why we collect information about you:

  1. To process your order (including payment authorization and billing);
  2. To provide you with advanced services such as reminder service, important date management, quarterly newsletter subscription and purchasing services;
  3. To help develop the content of the site and our services.

We will not rent, sell or give your personal information to any third party.

Information collected

In order to complete the transaction, certain personal information such as your name, email address or street address will be requested if you open an account or make a purchase. We will also need you to provide us with the complete contact information of the recipient of each delivery.

À la Boîte à Fleurs does not retain your credit card number or security code once the transaction is complete.

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we will ask you for basic information required for you to receive promotions and discounts, as well as information about our business.

Use and Disclosure of Your Information

At The Flower Box, we understand that your inbox is already cluttered with too much spam. The last thing we would want is for you to abuse it to the point that you add our email address or web domain to your email block list or spam filter. That's why we promise never to harass you with daily, weekly or monthly emails. There are only four (4) possible reasons for receiving emails from The Flower Box:

  1. Confirmation emails will be sent to you as part of the normal purchase transaction process to confirm completion, to clarify requests, or to verify the accuracy of the information provided.
  2. If you have registered, we will send you an interesting monthly Flowers & Flavors newsletter as well as discounts, promotions or invitations to private events.
  3. We will also gladly answer any questions you may have.

In short, we will not send you any emails unless you specifically give us your consent (unless, of course, it is an order or delivery confirmation).

We will always give you the opportunity to opt-out of receiving any future marketing emails or text messages.

If you opt-in to receive information from us, we may use your purchase history, contact information, or other information requested at registration to customize the information provided and improve the content of the emails you receive. We may also send emails to our users to inform them of changes in our services or topics of interest to our users. If you prefer not to receive these emails, you may send us an email with the words "No More Email" in the subject line or respond to the email with "No More Email" in the body of the message.

If you send us personal written correspondence such as letters, faxes or e-mails, or if a third party sends us correspondence relating to your activities on our site, we may collect this information. We may use this information or any other data collected during the use of our site to resolve disputes, track and correct technical problems, and enforce or apply our policies, terms and conditions for the benefit of our customers.

We cannot guarantee that your personally identifiable information or private communications will never be disclosed in ways not otherwise described in our Privacy and Disclosure Policy. For example, we may be required to disclose certain information to the Government or to a third party in certain specified circumstances. It is also theoretically possible that a third party could illegally intercept or fraudulently access private transmissions or communications. Therefore, we may (and you authorize us to) disclose, in our sole discretion, any information to the appropriate authorities or government institutions that we believe is necessary or appropriate to provide in connection with an investigation of fraud, copyright or intellectual property infringement, or any other crime or activity that may be illegal or that may expose us to civil or criminal liability.
